Involvement with energywork definitely does something with your idea of what is real. In the course of learning energy healing, it’s not uncommon for a person’s beliefs about what’s real to get overhauled. In energy healing workshops, students sometimes have experiences that are hard to square with their previous notions and beliefs about how things are. It might take the form of a sensation or a memory, an insight or a strange perception that evokes the question,“Was that real, or did I just imagine it?” It’s such a good question, one that makes me ponder what we mean when we ask it.
